A Mother's Love

One of the things I love most about my job is working with newborns. I have to say a newborn shoot is a great deal of work, but I love every minute of it. There is something about a new baby that makes my heart melt. It reminds of me of how quickly times goes by when I look at a tiny newborn and then look at my 4 year old and 9 month old. I can still remember all the details from both my deliveries. From pain, to cries, to laughter, to the first time I laid eyes on my children. From the first time I held them, it was like a love I have never known. I can honestly say I would give my life for my children and never look back. So for me getting to see such a unique and strong love between a Mother and baby is an amazing experience each and every time. Whether it is a first time Mother or a Mother's 3rd baby, the love is always the same-unconditional. When I am proofing a newborn shoot, I always love the shots of Mother and baby, the bond that I see each time is so powerful. There is nothing like the joys of being a Mother and I am so lucky to be able to experience that with my children. I hope, I can give a new Mother the joys over and over again each time she sees her baby in my images.
