Walkin' in a winter wonderland.

Kristen wanted a fairy tale, winter wonderland wedding and that is exactly what she got! What a perfect day and a perfect couple. Kristen and Matt were married this past Saturday in Macon, GA. When I first met with Kristen, she said she wanted her wedding to be like a winter wonder land and it was a winter day in Macon, GA. My assistant, Tara and I had a blast at this wedding. Everyone in the wedding was so much fun to work with and so easy to photograph. I have to say, Kristen's family is the biggest family I have ever seen and we managed to get great shots of them ALL together. So, to all her family, thank you for being so wonderful to work with. Best wishes to the happy bride and groom who are soaking up the sun on their honeymoon in St. Lucia!!!

Oh Jackson, how cute are you?

Just look at Mr. Jackson. Don't you just want to eat him up? I have loved taking his picture since he was only a couple of days old. He is always is such a good mood and just loves the camera. I always look forward to working with him, as I get some of my best work when I take his photographs-maybe it is because silly ole' grandma is always behind me getting his to ham it up for the camera-(Trish let me know if you need a side job). He just turned 1 and my how the time flies. Here are a couple of my favorites from our session. Until next time, Jackson...

Wilson turns ONE!

No, I am not talking about a football or a tennis ball, I am talking about precious Wilson Moore! He turned one in November and since I had Rhen right before he was born, his Mom was kind enough to wait for me to have a couple of week to spend on maternity leave. I just love Wilson. He is always so happy and I just think he is about the cutest little thing. I have loved watching him change each time he comes to see me. We had to get the football in the picture since it showed off his name. His Dad is a awesome tennis player, who by the way coached me in high school-he was only in college at the time. Could it be that Wilson got his name from his Daddy's favorite past time? Wherever he got his name, I love it and I look forward to the next time I get to see him.

Love is in the air...

I just realized I never posted images to my blog from a wedding I did before I went on maternity leave. Tami and Jason were married in Sparta at the Baptist church and had a beautiful reception at a gorgeous home on the Sparta square. It was lovely weather and such a lovely day. I could see how in love the two of them were, it was so sweet. I will never get tired of photographing weddings, it is such a joy to see a bride on her wedding day. All the memories from my wedding day always come flowing back. It is truly a day you will never forget and I am so honored I get to take part in such a special day.

Mr. Blue Eyes

Just look at those blue eyes, don't they make your heart melt, they sure do mine. This is Cole, I posted his newborn photos in one of my first blog postings. He is now 4 months old and he is getting so big. His Mommy (Ivey) and I are first cousins, but you might as well say we are more like sisters. So I think of Cole as my nephew. His eyes just seem to draw me in. Our grandfather (mine and Ivey's) had the most beautiful blue eyes, something I inherited from him, something both of my little boys inherited from him and something Cole inherited from him as well. So, there you have it, that is the reason why his blue eyes draw me in, they remind me of those beautiful blue eyes our Papa had. Keaton will tell you that his blue eyes are prettier than his Mommy's are, and I have to agree. He would be so proud to see his three great-grand sons with such beautiful eyes!

Happy New Year and what a happy couple!

Happy New Year Everyone! I had the pleasure to ring in 2008 photographing a beautiful wedding in Savannah on New Year's eve. What a great way to spend the evening. Michelle and Rob were married Monday night in Savannah, GA. The wedding was lovely and the reception was spectacular. What a way to welcome the New Year as Mr. and Mrs. Manchester. Congrats to Michelle and Rob-thank you for letting me be a part of your special day and evening.

Welcoming Rhen!

Hello All,

It has been a while since I last posted. As many of you know, I had Rhen on November 6th. He came into the world perfect as perfect can be. He looks so much like his bigger brother, who by the way is so proud to be Rhen's big brother. We are finally settling into our new life with two little ones. Our family feels so complete and it amazes me that I can love two tiny people so much. So, for all of you that have been asking for images of Rhen, here you go. Isn't he just precious? I am also adding his birth announcement. I am trying to savor every moment of this time with him, as I know how quickly it goes by.
