What a great way to end 2008 with a spectacular winter wedding. Christen was such a beautiful bride and her wedding was just a lovely. I was so excited to photograph this wedding, as I taught Christen when she was in high school...not that I feel old or anything! The wedding ceremony took place in Deepstep and afterwards the reception was held at the Magnolia Ballroom in Milledgeville. Before the wedding, Christen and Jason saw each other, as you can see from the first couple of photos, this was such a special moment. I always love when brides choose to see the groom before the wedding. It makes for such a smooth day and no pictures to rush for after the ceremony. Everyone in the bridal party was a joy to work with and so relaxed. The reception was a great party. Everyone danced the night away to the sounds of Grapevine. At the end of the night, the ballroom was still packed with guest. I hope Christen and Jason had a wonderful time on their honeymoon as the new Mr. and Mrs. Davis.
